Never lose sight of where you're going.

Well, I've graduated. It's done. I'm stuck in this funny mindset though, thinking of things I should do at school... but then I keep going through the shock of the fact that there are some people I will never see again.

It's...great. I think. I'm still not sure. High school let me down a fair bit, as I never got some really close friends. Sleepover friends, friends that I could share everything with.
On the other hand, it turns out that I played a large part in other people's lives, even though they weren't one in mine. The friendship book that was given to me was filled with people I hadn't realised I'd done so. For that I'm glad, I love helping people

So I think... I'm still sad, but there have been some really good times, so I'll focus on them then.

Woke up at 5:30 for some reason, said good morning to my sis and her friend, then crashed on the sofa, woke up again, went to watch my youngest sister's touch game (they lost, but it was a tough team). Then I came home, crashed on the sofa again, mum woke me up to move me to my bed... woke up, had dinner, watched tv, done.

I'd like a cottage in Scotland (or Ireland) with a good stove and a small garden. I'd like to look out the kitchen window and see my children playing pretend, and green landscape far as the eye can see... a lake as well. School's been stupid. I THAT close to finishing, THAT CLOSE!
However, I have a maths exam and a legal studies speech.
The speech is on TODAY.
Stuff, I'm so over how many speeches we've had this term
I suck at legal anyway, what if I misread- a- timetable...?
Oh well, this time next week I can relax.
I know a couple of people who are taking the entire of next year off. A whole year with no responsabilities!
I did try to make a year off work, but it fell through...
"Ha, when will we hear the end of that!" you say?
In 2012, I'll be taking the year off to stay in the UK. This'll be the same year Hillary graduates, so it certainly feels a LONG way off :'(

I don't know who would volunteer for a gig in that show, but it must be their last desperate leap at reporting fame.

A couple of months back, they were covering a story about a man in a caravan park that used too much water. The nosy neighbour kept a CHART of how long the guy took in the shower.

A few weeks ago, they actually talked about MY SCHOOL ("an exclusive school", apparently). The entire interview was very badly done (they tried to talk to one of the high school sports teacher about why a kid in primary school was having trouble)

And just tonight, their story was about how this guy in the sign painting business resembled that swearing british chef. The wife CALLED the show (why she called them escapes me) to tell them she is married to a guy like that. And they covered it!!! 10 whole minutes!
